A Fun Word to Say

Gauche: lacking grace or social polish; awkward or tactless


While this is a fun word to say hopefully none of us will be described as gauche.

Chickens!

We just got some, well 7 to be exact, baby chickens. Each one is a different breed. One is going to have some awesome hair when it gets older, right now it just looks like it has a pompom on its head. Another will look like it has boots on when it is grown. I think it is so wonderful that God chose to have so much variety in a species like the chicken for our enjoyment. He is so very creative!

Hello! I hope everyone had a great Christmas season and a great New Year. I would like to suggest a really good book. Joyfully At Home by Jasmine Bauchum is a really great read. 

Flowers and Butterflies!

 All of these butterflies are from the Calaway Gardens Butterfly Room. There were about 67 different species, it was amazing!

 The pink flower is from Calaway Garden's Horticulture Center, it was so beautiful that I had to take a picture of it.

 These flowers from this yellow one down are from my Great Granny's garden. We went out to her house to see the flowers and to visit before the flowers all went away.

I really like this one. It is so amazing to watch flowers open and to see what beauties will appear!

  These are my two baby sisters Anna Dinkua Grace and Esther Birhane Joy. Today is the 2 month anniversary of them being here with us!! I am so glad that God put them in my life. I am also so glad that God had me wait for my sisters.
